Peter Hiett is the son of a Presbyterian pastor, whom he greatly adored. After receiving a degree in Geology from the University of Colorado, Peter earned an M.Div. Degree from Fuller Seminary in Pasadena CA. He’s been the lead pastor at the Sanctuary since 2008 and before that pastored some of our people at a church in Golden. Peter has authored three books… that you should read! He has been ordained by the Presbyterian Church USA, the Evangelical Presbyterian Church and now, our body, The Sanctuary. He has been married to Susan, his high school sweetheart, since 1983. They have four wonderful children that Peter likes most of the time. His second favorite thing is skiing bumps at Mary Jane. But since his old knees complain so very much, he has to settle for his first—hanging out on a beach somewhere with Susan. He really likes God, the Gospel and Scripture. For them, he feels like he’s sometimes lost his head… but the Lord always helps him find it once again.

Vincent Colbert loves coffee, music, and the mountains. If he’s not practicing guitar, preparing a worship set, or working in the studio, he’s probably out hiking with his wife Alison or drinking a cappuccino at a local coffeeshop. One fun fact that you might not know about Vince is that he’s an accomplished barista. He owned his own espresso catering business in Michigan and even competed in the south central regional barista competition. He can pour some killer latte art!
